Description:
Philodendron selloum ‘Hope’, also known as Hope Philodendron or Tree Philodendron, is a lush, tropical foliage plant recognised for its large, deeply lobed, glossy green leaves and robust, shrubby form. Native to South America, this variety has been specially cultivated for a more compact and manageable growth habit compared to the original species, making it ideal for use in both indoor and outdoor landscapes across Melbourne. The leaves form a fountain-like shape and can grow quite large, giving it a bold, dramatic presence in a pot or garden bed. It thrives in part shade to bright, indirect light and prefers well-draining, slightly moist soil. While it can tolerate occasional dryness, regular watering during active growth is ideal. Outdoors in sheltered spots, it adds a tropical, architectural feel to shaded areas. Though it may produce a spathe-like flower similar to other aroids, it's rarely seen in cultivation. This low-maintenance plant is highly valued for its durability, lush texture, and sculptural form.

It's tough!
This chew toy has held up well. Yes, the squeaker did succumb eventually. Yes, my dog was able to eventually chew pieces from it. However, it has lasted longer than any other chew toy we have purchased other than the Nylabone type. I even bought several for family members who have dogs.

A bit heavy, so mind the sizing. Good though.
My dog is a relentless chewing Jock. He's 11 lbs of Chi X and runs and chews until he's exhausted. I got the 6" for him and it's a bit heavy. He already unraveled and ate the string tape, so I braided and knotted it. He likes it when I can get him to chase it. I'd get a 4" if I were to do it again. It's a great well made product that really let's him get a good chew on.

Pup’s new favorite chew toy!
My son let one of my pups have a corn cob, which my dog enjoyed immensely. However, son got scolded as these can be very dangerous to dogs, and I disappointed my pup by taking it away. I went to Amazon to see if, by chance, a dog toy existed that was a corn cob. And there we found this- the new favorite of MANY chew toys for my medium size aggressive chewers. I bought two, one for each. They enjoyed “tug-a-war” due to the handy rope end. It squeaks. It’s strong and well made. It’s by far their favorite chew toy. I did store them in the fridge prior to giving them and pretended to eat them to make the pups think they were “real”. The package says they are dog toothbrushes, so a good benefit there as well. I’m sure we will be getting these regularly.

Quality
I have a 5 lbs puppy. Within 5 minutes of giving him this toy he had pieces of the rope chewed off and in his mouth. Needless to say, into the garbage it went. Disappointed
