Long range wireless water-presence/soil moisture/water level sensor tag with water and scratch proof coating. With 10-bit resolution ambient temperature sensor. Supports out-of-range notification, but has no beep function. The battery installed has 3x capacity than in regular Wireless Sensor Tag but is not replaceable. Because of this this product is not refundable once activated (we will replace defective units within warranty period of 1 year).
- Flooding notification with resistive water presence sensor
- Soil-moisture/water level logging and notification with capacitive sensor
- Temperature (air) logging and notification with 0.25°C (10-bit) resolution temperature sensor
- Logging interval programmable from 30 seconds to 4 hours. The "transmit multiple data points at a time" mode improves battery life and allows shorter logging interval (available with "Multi-Point Transmit" option)
- Water proof coating to prevent splashes (the square part of the sensor must be above water level for the wireless to function)
- Out-of-range/back-in-range notifications
- Unlimited storage of logged temperature and soil moisture data on cloud (can be deleted any time)
What's New in Version 2.0:
- Longer arm allows sensing soil-moisture at deeper region / placing antenna at higher position for longer range.
- Scratch, water and chemical resistant coating over sensing arm and entire circuit board allows longer service life when used outdoor compared with the original version.
Update (January 10, 2018): We are now shipping a new batch with improved coating near the tip area of the capacitive water-level/soil moisture sensing surface to eliminate gradual electrical short when used in certain environment, which would cause reported moisture level to be stuck at a max value.
