The dress is a rich dark navy). It is the back that absolutely separates this incredible dress from others. Ruffles that expand across the bottom half of the dress starting at the waist. When you are not moving you see hints of the yellow ruffle but when you move is when the magic happens. PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS PRIOR TO BUYING AND CHECK MEASUREMENTS CAREFULLY. THIS DRESS IS NOT RETURNABLE. I have had this dress for nearly 45 yers, and had to wait until I could find the perfect model for it that was small enough to wear it, and who could show how beautiful it really is.
