With MERV 11, these strike a nice balance for my setup — noticeably better dust and pollen capture than basic MERV 5 or 8 filters, but without putting obvious strain on the system. After about a month of use, the filters clearly show they’re doing their job, collecting a visible layer of dust and fine debris. A few things to keep in mind. The cardboard frame isn’t as rigid as some premium filters, and they’re a bit thinner than brands like Filtrete.
